Multiple N or NE versions of 4000 series clocks may be operated in Network Stopwatch Mode to provide a remote readout of stopwatch or timer counts. You can also control the stopwatch functions of E and NE versions with an optional 496E dedicated switch panel or by external user-supplied voltage free contacts. The standard RC100 IR handset controls the stopwatch and countdown timer functions.Wharton 4000 series clocks have time digits freely switchable between the display of time-of-day and multifunction stopwatch or countdown time.We include an RC100 handset for remote time-setting, stopwatch control, operating mode and special function selection. You can select a display of time only, alternating time and temperature (requires extra cost temperature sensor) or alternating time and date. You have a choice of blue, green, red or yellow/amber digits. The 12 or 24-hour time display uses ultra-reliable, 50mm ( 2") high dot matrix characters for hours and minutes with 30mm ( 1.2") characters for seconds.Every model will operate as a multi-option stopwatch or as a programmable countdown timer controlled either by the included IR handset or user-supplied voltage free contacts. The extensive range of case styles and time synchronisation options ensure that these clocks are suitable for many different timekeeping applications and environments.Typical applications range from hospitals to detention facilities, military and civilian command and control, broadcast studios and production areas and research and development laboratories.
